Then next week is our signature event, our statewide film screenings of Big Dream – a film about inspiring women and girls who work in science and tech, and open days at hackerspaces and makerspaces around Tasmania, plentiful opportunities to share ideas over a beverage, and a couple of crowdfunding master classes.
The Big Dream screening will be preceded by panel discussions featuring women prominent in science, engineering and tech industries in Tasmania who will talk about their work and careers and this is an event not to be missed, especially for the geek girl in your life.
Please help us spread to word to ensure these opportunities are experienced and enjoyed by everyone in our community.
We look forward to seeing you at your favourite events.
