Tasmanian Business grants for 2013 designed to help stimulate Innovation

This just in… ABC News Tasmania has just reported that the Tasmanian Government will be offering business grants next year of up to $250,000  to encourage innovation.

The announcement today essentially detailed further on how the State Government will allocate money under its jobs package.

The Government says the money is coming from its $7.5 million Innovation and Investment fund, it has already previously announced.

And according to ABC News Tasmania, the State Government is predicting the initiative will stimulate about $11 million in private investment and create 170 jobs.
