Innovation Bay Angel Dinner – Calling for Video Pitch Submissions!

Innovation Bay is seeking video pitch submissions from high-tech start-ups, deadline Friday 8 February. This is a fantastic opportunity to get in front of a room full of Angel Investors during a session called the Angel Dinner.

The next Angel Dinner will be taking place on Tuesday, 19 February but with Christmas just around the corner, this call for video pitch is done early so everyone will get plenty of notice.

So here’s what you need to submit to them:

• A 90 second video (any format acceptable but don’t exceed the time limit) to [email protected]
• The purpose of the video is to introduce your business and explain why you should be selected, compellingly
• Explain your value proposition in a strong and punchy format….they want to know why you are poised to succeed and why someone would want to invest in your business.
• And as pointers, explore the following briefly:
  • Investment – how much, what do you need it for, why should someone invest
  • The market – size and opportunity
  • What problem you are solving and do you offer a different solution
  • Business overview – who you are, what you do, your experience, your team

And YES, all this in only 90 seconds!

So what are you waiting for! Start preparing early and send it in by 5pm (EST), Friday 8 February 2013.

The top 9 videos, as selected by Innovation Bay’s panel of experts, will be uploaded to Innovation Bay Angels website (private log-in access only) where members can further discuss your business with you and then vote for their favourite(s). And finally, the 4 pitches that receive the highest votes will be invited to present at the Dinner.
