The muru-D team (https://muru-d.com/) is coming to Tasmania and would love for you to join them with Startup Tasmania at The Typewriter Factory Loft, Hobart.

muru-D is a startup accelerator backed by Telstra. They are looking to support the best digital talent that the Australasian region has to offer by offering startups $40k for 6% equity, 6 months in their coworking space, mentorship and access to other resources as well as the Telstra network. muru-D run rolling intakes of up to 10 startups and will be open for applications for their next intake very soon.

They’re visiting Hobart and Launceston next week to scout for local talent and introduce their programme to anyone who might be interested in the future.

We will have Annie Parker, co-founder of muru-D and Ben Reid, Manager of Biz Development talking about muru-D, accelerator programs and the Australian startup ecosystem. There will be a brief talk and then open Q&A; if you have a startup, or are considering launching one they’ll be happy also to answer any questions you may have on what muru-D offers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone in the Tasmanian startup community to hear from and talk to experienced investors and mentors, and perhaps even get some pointers for your application to the programme.
